The Beam Imperial Powerhead has used more than one style motor. Because of these two style motors, Beam provides an update kit. The original B1500 brush roller and belt are no longer available. With this kit, you get the new motor, brush roller and belt. The brush roller in a central vacuum powerhead is one of the most important, if not the most important component of a powerhead. A good brush roller ensures that the vacuum powerhead cleans properly. When the brushes start to wear down and/or the belt needs to be replaced, the cleaning effectiveness of your powerhead is reduced. When these are replaced, your powerhead will operate good as new. This Replacement Kit is for the following Powerhead Models: •Beam B1500 •Beam B1550 •Beam Imperial Powerbrush with EZ Change Relase •SA7001

Note: If your powerhead is the Imperial B1500 or B1550 and you have not already upgraded it, then you will require this Update Kit. This is due to the motor shaft and the roller having to match for the replacement belt. Neither the original motor or roller brush are available.

You may purchase the roller brush separate if you have already upgraded the powerhead the Beam part number is #155222. This is the same roller brush that is included in this upgrade kit.
